Knowing trees, I understand the meaning of patience. Knowing grass, I can appreciate persistence.

There are a few of his novels, which are enough to force a person to quit reading. Poor language, crap story plot and hell disgusting narration have made this guy eligible to fit in the list of worst Indian authors. His stories simply revolve around some stupid college students who will fall in love at first sight. He will then try to put some erotic stuff(and he fails miserably) and then someone in the story will either die or go through some serious accident & the end.
Durjoy Dutta The widely acclaimed author of such mesmerizing works like Of Course I Love You ..! Till I Find Someone Better, She Broke Up, I Didn’t! etc.
What puts Durjoy Dutta on top of this list is his shamelessness and audacity to keep publishing delusional pieces of crap every year. It is so predictable that you and I can sit now and pen down what his next book is going to be about and trust me, we would be more or less right. Candid writing is not wrong. It never is. But taking it to the levels that Durjoy Dutta has taken is truly astounding. The titles are enough to make you cringe. What I am against is the sheer garbage that is being dumped into the minds of our young boys. Instead of being strong individuals with self-respect and character, they are gradually turning into the imbecile pieces of waste, just like the protagonists of our writer's stories.
The man who one-ups Chetan Bhagat on this list. I've never really understood what he's trying to imply through his books. I've never really understood how he convinced publishers to print his rubbish. But what really baffles me is the fact that this rubbish is, unfortunately, a runaway bestseller. One of my cousins used to work at CrossWords, the bookstore as you may know. He said and I quote " Ravinder Singh ki kitaabe to humare shelf pe sajaane se pehle hi bik jaati hai". Sad, but true. Desperation laden fantasies turned into amateur writing turned into bestselling books. Kalyug, like my grandmother, used to say.
The fourth place on the podium is occupied by the man himself. For someone who was raised by a tough authoritarian father, for someone who showed the character to stand up to the same person, for someone who is the ultimate Indian Middle Class Dream (IIT-IIM-MNC), for someone who defied cultural stereotypes to marry someone from outside his community, his works are way too candid, superficial and at times, sleazy.
His political commentaries are naive' to say the least. Mr Bhagat just misses out on the coveted top 2 spots because of the witty '2 states' and the like-able '5 point someone'.
For someone who has won the CNN-IBN Blogger award to break into this list, they must have done something really wrong. In fact, repeatedly wrong. For Madhuri Banerjee, those wrongs were ‘Losing my Virginity and other dumb ideas’, ‘Scandalous Housewives: Mumbai’, and ‘Mistakes like love and Sex’.Widely criticized by females and applauded by our deluded young males, these books have only served the purpose of bringing down Ms Banerjee’s reputation as a respected travel and relationship blogger.
And she wrote the screenplay for Hate Story 2, too.
