It is important to understand that feminism stands for equality and not women ruling over men either. Equal rights for both men and women alike – EQUALITY. Many argue time and again that they believe in equality but are not feminists – son, it is the same thing.
The reason why we propagate feminism is that the men are already privileged to enjoy things which women are not. It is for the females to come to an equal status and given the equal opportunity that men already have.
When we talk about equality, it is for both the genders to be on par with one another. We know it is not all the men of the world who are scums, we know that there are good ones out there looking out for us but at the same time, the ratio of people are giving us a hard time are way too high to let you gloat. Once you’ve used that hashtag though, you portray yourself as someone whom we cannot rely on.
Women empowerment is not women toppling over men and wishing for them to be submissive in every walk of life No, matriarchy as an exact opposite to patriarchy is not what we want. We wish for matriarchy only because it means the woman is the caregiver and she asserts her power from within.
She is not like the typical patriarchal man trying to have power over others. Feminism and matriarchy are not related but had they been, would you mind to be surrounded by the women who only wish to exert their natural instincts to keep you safe?
Nevertheless, the objective of the world today is to ensure that women are equally represented as men are, and for that, we all MUST be feminist. Can you say it out loud like it’s not a dirty word that somehow most people are conditioned to believe?
