We grow up in a society where life is a rat race and giving one percent less, may cause you your throne. And yet, most of the youngsters staunchly follow the ideology of 'Why so serious?' I have observed that being laid back is the key to peers, but not to success. So what is this seriousness that everybody is talking about? Out of the many misconceptions that today’s generation has, this is a lethal one! To be 'serious' means to be focused.

The dedication, commitment, and the sincerity with which a work is done is what seriousness is all about. We all have goals, ambitions, and visualize the picture of a perfect life, but this vision blurs without the help of seriousness. Being serious helps us to analyze the tiniest of the details, thus increasing the frequency of our perfection. It gives us the courage and strength to follow our dreams. It strikes for us, the 'bull's eye'.But unfortunately, we have mistaken the stress and anxiety to be seriousness.
While 'being serious' is what will make your life goals fall into place, the anxiety will only lead to more of a negative feedback from your mind. Probably, when our loved ones said "Just Relax! Why so serious?” they said so, not to promote being laid back, but to dust away from the nervousness off our shoulders. Being laid back never helped anyone, and never will. It is a mere waste of time, sources, and energy, which we end up regretting.
Nothing in life will get Xerox - like results. Even the easiest tasks will require immense patience. And that patience would show up, only if you have religiously given your heart and soul to a thought.
"Dreams don't work, unless you do" is what kind of seriousness we all need in our lives. If only a few focused ones wouldn't have been asked "Why so serious?" the world would have been a different place.
