Knowing trees, I understand the meaning of patience. Knowing grass, I can appreciate persistence.

Our brain is organized to manage more than 50000 thoughts per day but maybe you don’t know that the most part of them are negative!What happens when negative thoughts overcrowd our mind? It happens that not only our feelings but all our daily life is influenced by them.In Sociology and in Psychology this kind of phenomenon is called “Prophecy that can come true alone” and it wants to say that often if we are scared about future events, our behavior will change and will make the scared events come true.
To take under control our mind is, as we can easily understand, very very important if we want a good quality of life; but what we can do it?
Thinking differently: stop to think negative, distract ourselves doing something; for example going for a walk or doing some exercises that can disturb your negative focus;
Start to believe that, if we really want, we can change part of the things that we don’t like in our life: to have a goal to reach daily or weekly is a very good trick for success;
Stop thinking that each single negative occurrence means negative experiences at all;
Stop thinking we can take everything under control or that we can have responsibility to everything around us;
Don’t jump too fast to the conclusions because often they are very different (and worst) from the real ones.
Create a plan for our life: organize our life following some goals that we are able to reach;
Avoid staying a long time alone: to stay with friends and relatives, to talk with them is surely a good way to distract but even to listen for another perspective;
Be proud of our successes, even if they are small;
Help ourselves with meditation: this is the better thing to quiet the mind and take the negative thoughts under control;
Get close to nature: even if it is only a park in town, even if it is only for some hours in the week, to stay in a relaxing place help our mind to stay quiet.
