Nature just is. It is not in a rush to do or be something. It goes through its natural rhythms each day in a very remarkable way. Nature has much to teach us about being simple, natural, and balanced. If only we would take the time to listen, see, and appreciate.
We all can take some time out during the day, whether in the morning, in the evening, or the throughout the day to appreciate the essence flowing throughout nature. There is a clarity and a connection that we receive when we stop long enough to appreciate the simplicity and energy surrounding us in nature.
One of the quickest ways to experience Spirit in everything is through gratitude. When you appreciate someone or something you form a connection with that person or thing from a very sincere place.
The smallest act of appreciating the food that we’re eating, or thanking the person that held a door for us to walk through allows us to experience Spirit in that moment. Gratitude is the ability to see clearly all that we have and express sincerity for the abundance in our lives.
Try expressing gratitude today. We all will find that there is always something to be thankful for, and this perception allows us to be even more connected to the Spirit that connects us each day.

Everything around us is connected to Spirit. There is divinity in even the smallest things. While we think that only the big experiences count, there are no menial experiences, people, places or things once we understand that everything is interconnected.Spirit is in everything. We must first acknowledge this in order to truly experience it.
None of us have to be perfect for meditating. We don’t have to do anything special to truly take the time out to connect with the essence within us. Since Spirit is within everything, it is also within us.
The difficult part of meditating is not finding the time or space but stopping the endless chatter and unnecessary banter that distracts us from a true connection to our Spirit selves. This connection is possible, but we must make the effort in each now moment to be centered enough to receive it.
